COLUMBUS ACADEMY FOR LIFELONG LEARNING (CALL) has something for everyone:
Stay social with Board Games, Mahjong, In-town and Out-of-town Trips.
Stay active with "Line Dancing," and "Walk in the Park."
Stay sharp with classes like "Democracy on the Ballot," "Understanding Cognitive Bias," "Turning Points in American History," "Why Evil Exists," "Shakespeare's Tragedies," and "Macroeconomics Made Clear."
Stay current with "Chattahoochee Valley Stories."
Fall Term Fall Classes are listed on the Classes tab. The Synopsis describing the classes and the Fall Registration form will be on-line once finalized. The forms will be emailed to our mailing list in August. We encourage you to forward the email to any persons you know who might be interested.
Fall Registration will be at CSU in Founder's Hall, Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center on Wednesday September 11. Social time will start at 1:30 and the meeting begins at 2:00 and will last about an hour.
Fall Classes will start on Monday September 23 and conclude on Thursday October 31.
Your CALL Organization
Our Mission: to offer learning enrichment for mature adults by providing exceptional experiences at minimal cost. CALL is affiliated with Columbus State University, but is a peer-led organization with all activities, including classes, developed and facilitated by members.
The curriculum is varied evolving from the interests of the members and includes intellectual, artistic, social, technical and physical activities.
Most members are retired seniors, but CALL is open to all and you can take one or all of the courses for the membership fee. See the membership page for more information on joining.
